*FUNCTION*
In pursuant to Article 28 of the NDC Constitution, the Regional Organizer shall be the *Chief Field Operator* of the party whose functions include the following;
*a.* Membership Drive
*b.* Mobilize support for the party and
*c.* Ensure higher voter turn – out at any election in which the party is involved.
*VISION: WE WORK TOGETHER, WE ENJOY TOGETHER*
*A. MEMBERSHIP DRIVE*
*-* Identify individuals who in one way or the other are sitting on the fence / neglected. So that we can assign them with task looking at what they can do well. Eg. Former Appointees, Former DCE’s, Former Party Executives, Cadres and others.
*-* Identify various groups (targeted / interest) that is, Commercial Drivers, Okada Riders, Market Women Association, Artisans (Hairdressers, Dressmakers, Carpenters, Barbers and others), fisher folks, farmers and any other identifiable group.
*-* Regular visitation to the constituencies to get first hand information of challenges and to relate well with the people.
*-* Prioritization of Assembly Elections.
*B. MOBILIZATION*
*-* To ensure that paraphernalia are adequately provided and distributed at the door step of the people.
*-* Shall ensure that a Taylor is fully employed at each constituency to sew party flags. By so doing, we provide employment for party members, even in opposition.
*-* I shall provide materials through lobbying from others. Why should we go for China flags?
*SECURITY:* There should be peace and security to assure the party members that they will not be intimated under any event. Task forces will be put in place, trained and well-disciplined to fortify the security of all the constituencies.
*-* In the event that we win election, all qualified members of the task force will be recommended to be absorbed into the security services whiles the rest will be engage by other government agency.
*C. ELECTIONS*
*-* We will equip the office of the election directorate in all the constituencies with adequate gadgets / logistics. Thus will help to achieve a complete and well established data base of voter registrants in the Volta Region.
*-* Registration of fresh / first time voters will be prioritized.
*-* We will put in place mechanism to identify various locations of registrants who may not be available during the general election. This will help to facilitate their movement to the polling station and back to their destination.
*-* Identify sympathetic teachers at the second cycle institutions and the existing various patrons of TEIN for mobilization.
*CREATION OF OPPORTUNITY*
*-* I will not lobby for myself for any position in government and contract because I have to prioritize our party members from the grassroots.
*-* Hard working persons will be identified and better opportunities created for them after winning elections.
*-* Talented and gifted party members would be motivated to position themselves for appointments.
*I pledge that I shall be committed, transparent, and effective in delivering my vision and most importantly not victimizing any member or sympathizer identified with my opponents, to achieve our common and collective goals towards agenda 2020.*
